Your Hometown Radio Stations have a tradition of excellence, and that tradition continues with the recent announcement of two awards from the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters.
The PAB has announced that Renda Broadcasting’s Todd Marino has received two awards, taking first place in the Radio Feature Story/Report/Series category for his special report series “A Coroner’s Life” that aired on WCCS AM 1160 and FM 101.1 and on WDAD AM 1450 and FM 100.3, which focused on Indiana County Coroner Jerry Overman, Jr., and took listeners behind the scenes on the many challenges the position presents. Marino also received a first place award for Best Radio Commercial category for a commercial for IRMC’s Center for Cardiac and Vascular Care.
Renda Broadcasting Vice President and General Manager Mark Bertig said that the competition this year was very tough.
