A rash of fires striking the area continue this weekend with two brush fires and two structure fires reported.
Indiana, Clymer, and Creekside firefighters were dispatched along with Citizens Ambulance to a structure fire along Store Hill Road in Ernest Borough at 7:29 Sunday morning. No details are available at the time of this writing.
Another structure fire was reported Saturday as Creekside, Clymer, and Elderton were sent to one along Brewer Road in Washington Township. No report is yet available.
There were two brush fires reported Saturday afternoon. Marion Center and Commodore firefighters fought a brush fire along Dixonville Road in Grant Township, and the Blairsville and Black Lick fire companies were dispatched for a brush fire along Wainwright Road in Conemaugh Township.
