Donna N. (Weinell) Carlson, 83, of Hillside, PA died Saturday, April 07, 2018 at Loyalhanna Care Center, Latrobe, PA
Donna was born June 17, 1934 in Blairsville, PA to Joseph J. Weinell and Nellie (Rosbourgh) Weinell.
Donna was a 1952 graduate of Blairsville High School. She had worked at the former A&P Store in Blairsville for many years. Donna was a lifetime member of the First United Methodist Church, Blairsville, where she taught Sunday school for many years. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and Jobs Daughters. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband & family.
Donna was survived by her husband of 62 years Richard H. Carlson, Hillside, PA, her son Richard L. Carlson, Clinton, NC, her daughter Sharon E. Cassatt & husband Donald, Sykesville, MD, and her grandchildren, Shannon Grissom & husband Tyler, Christiansburg, VA, Taylor Cassat, Reistertown, MD, Sarah Cassat, Hunt Valley, MD, and Jordan Cassat at home.
Donna was preceded in death by her father Joseph J. Weinell, her mother Nellie (Rosbourgh) Weinell, her brothers James, Carl, Art & Ken Weinell, and her sister Lois Jenner.
In keeping with Donna’s wishes, there will be no visitations. A memorial service will be held in the First United Methodist Church, Blairsville, PA on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 11:00 AM. Pastor Rob Ingmire will officiate.

Interment will be at Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA
