A police pursuit on 422 in Armstrong County ended with a crash that killed one person.
Reports say that the Armstrong County Coroner pronounced one person dead due to injuries suffered in a crash on Route 422 near Elderton. Elderton police had tried to pull the vehicle over around 7:50 PM but the driver did not yield to police and initiated a chase that ended with the crash in Plumcreek Township.
State Police have not released any further information on the pursuit or the identity of the deceased.
