The Altoona Curve take their first loss of the young season with a 7-6 loss to the Akron Rubber Ducks.
The Curve built up a 6-0 lead thanks to a four-run fourth inning, but the Rubber Ducks bounced back, putting up a four-spot of their own in the seventh, one run in the eighth, and in the 9th, Bobby Bradley hit a two run homer that put the game away for Akron. Logan Hill had a two-RBI night for the curve to lead the offensive production.
The Curve and Akron play today and Indiana Native and Curve manager Michael Ryan will be honored with his own bobblehead available to the first 1000 fans at the Curve game this afternoon. Game time has been shifted to a 2:00 PM Start.
