State Police in Punxsutawney have charged a Rossiter man with robbery and burglary for an incident over the weekend in the northern part of Indiana County. Police say on March 31st, James Fetterman of Rossiter broke into the home of Ashley Jacques on Cameron Road of Rossiter through a window. A scuffle ensued between Fetterman, Jacques and Jacob Palachak of Brookville, and police say Fetterman left the scene with several personal items. Fetterman was later found by police and taken into custody. Charges have been filed and Fetterman is awaiting a preliminary arraignment.

Police are looking for someone who used a baseball bat to damage a truck. Police say on April 1st, just before noon, an unknown suspect hit a truck belonging to Brian Ahlborn of Homer City using the bat, and damaged the driver’s side bed area. What sounds like an April Fools prank is being investigated by State Police in Center Township. Police say that an unknown individual discarded a bag of trash and a TV at the home of Wesley Sharp on Luciousboro road in Homer City. Police are treating this like an incident of scattering rubbish. Police have charged three people with drug possession and underage drinking after a traffic stop in Indiana Borough. Police stopped a car that had 18-year-old Jonah Noel of Dysart and two teenage boys of Altoona in the car around 7:12 PM. During that stop, police found that there was alcohol, drugs and possible instruments of a crime in the vehicle.
