The Washington Capitals clinched the Metropolitan Division yesterday by defeating the Penguins, 3-1, in Pittsburgh.
The Pens are second in the division with Columbus just two points behind. Columbus plays the Detroit Red Wings tomorrow, while the Penguins are off until Thursday night, when they travel to Columbus to play the Blue Jackets.
Philadelphia is also two points behind the Pens.
