Emergency crews were busy over the last day or so as they took care of several different incidents.
Included among them were three vehicle accidents. The first of the three accidents was on Route 981 in Westmoreland County, as Saltsburg fire department and LifeStat EMS were called into assist with the crash in Westmoreland County. A crash was also reported just before 1:00 PM yesterday on South Ben Franklin Road in White Township. Indiana Fire Association members and Citizen’s ambulance were called out for that. A third crash was reported at 10:47 PM on Goral Road in Center Township. Homer City Fire Department and State Police were called for that incident. Few other details are known at this time about those three incidents.
Also, a vehicle fire was reported in Burrell Township on Marshall Heights Road. Blacklick and Blairsville fire crews were on scene for the fire that started at 12:45 Friday afternoon.
Crews from Indiana County were also called in to assist with a structure fire at 7:01 PM in Westmoreland County. Armagh and Clyde fire departments were called out. Again, few details are available on the incident.
