State police have issued a report on a sobriety checkpoint conducted overnight Saturday night and Sunday morning on South 6th Street in White Township.
Timed to coincide with the revelry of the IUPattys event, the checkpoint took three suspected drunk drivers off the road. Troopers channeled 124 vehicles through the setup. In addition to the three DUI arrests, eighteen traffic citations and one non-traffic citation were issued, three misdemeanor arrests were made, one warrant was serviced, and there were twenty-one written warnings.
