The driver in a car that rolled over in Indiana Borough is now in police custody after the crash tied up traffic on South 5th Street Friday morning.
Indiana Borough Police and Indiana Fire Association members were called out at 9:27 AM for the crash reported in the 600 block of South 5th Street. Authorities on-scene say the driver, who was not identified, was driving his SUV north on South 5th when he crossed the center line and crashed into another SUV parked on the street. The impact forced the driver’s SUV to turn onto it’s roof.
The driver did not suffer any injuries, and was able to get out of the car on his own, but he was arrested by police soon after. No word yet on the man’s identity or what he is charged with.
