William Timothy Allison “Tim,” age 68, of Pittsburgh (formerly of Indiana) died on Saturday, March 17, 2018, in Greensburg.
Tim was born in 1949 in Indiana to William J. and Margaret
(Wynkoop) Allison. He graduated from Indiana High School in 1967. He attended and graduated from Williamsport Technical College in 1969 with a degree in Graphic Arts.
Tim served in the U.S. Army from 1969 through 1973 with two tours in Vietnam and was honorably discharged. He was employed in the graphic arts area for 42 years with various firms in the Indiana and Pittsburgh areas.
Tim spent his retirement years as the primary caregiver for his life partner, Beth Ludwig, along with perfecting his cooking skills, enhancing his handyman skills, and enjoying the companionship of the family pets.
He is survived by his mother, Peg Allison; his life partner, Beth Ludwig; siblings – Linda Darr and husband John; David Allison and wife Debbie; nephews – Joshua Darr and wife Mary Beth, Christopher Darr and wife Erin; and five great nieces.
He was preceded in death by his father, William J. Allison.
There will be no public visitation. Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 23, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. at the Marion Center Memorial Cemetery, Marion Center, with Reverend David J. Hanna officiating.
