There is a sold-out concert tonight at IUP, and it’s prompted some temporary traffic changes in the area of the HUB.
Pratt Drive, from the entrance of the Whitmyre Hall loading dock to the Pratt Circle cul-de-sac, will be closed to vehicle traffic between 8 AM today and 2 AM tomorrow. Also, Building 1 of the HUB complex, which includes the Ohio Room, the business office, PNC Bank, the I-Card office, and a number of meeting rooms, will close today at 4 PM.
The “PNB Rock” concert is scheduled to begin at 8 o’clock tonight. Doors will open at 7 and since it’s a sold-out show, IUP reminds concert-goers to arrive early to a designated line formation area on the HUB front patio outside the building’s front doors. If you’re going to the concert, you are also asked to bring as few personal items with you as possible and have your tickets ready for scanning. The list of prohibited items includes backpacks, bags, and purses, and there will be no exceptions.
