It’s been a relatively St. Patrick’s Day weekend, with Indiana County 911 reporting only a few fire calls.
Armagh firefighters were dispatched Saturday afternoon for a vehicle fire on Route 403 in East Wheatfield Township.
Cherry Tree firefighters were summoned for an accident on Sylvis Road in Cambria County.
In what may be the most serious incident in the last 24 hours, Cherryhill Township firefighters and Citizens Ambulance Service were called to the scene of an accident on Route 553 in Cherryhill Township at 12:14 Sunday morning, and minutes later Clymer firefighters were summoned to set up a helicopter landing zone.
Indiana firefighters were dispatched at 3:44 Sunday morning for a carbon monoxide alarm at a location on Linda Lane in White Township.
