ROBERT CRAMER, SR., 85

Robert P. Cramer, Sr., 85, of Penn Run, PA died Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at his home.
The son of Murray R. and Vernie A. (Green) Cramer, he was born on April 19, 1932 in Cherryhill Twp., Indiana County, PA.
Robert attended Penn Run High School. A veteran of the US Army, he served as a Corporal during the Korean War with the 6th Armored Division.
Prior to his retirement, Robert was employed for many years at Fisher Scientific.
Well known for his artistry in woodworking, he enjoyed spending endless hours in his woodshop, where he created many special projects for his family and friends, as well as sharing his love and knowledge of woodworking and art with his children and grandchildren.
Robert loved farming and mowing grass, but his favorite moments revolved around spending time with his grandchildren; great-grandchildren and family.
Robert wed Ruby M. Widdowson on September 2, 1951 and they shared over sixty-six years of marriage.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby, of Penn Run, PA; his five children: Barry Cramer and fiancé, Denise Restifo of Erie, PA; Timothy Cramer and wife, Janet (Montgomery) of Penn Run, PA; Jeffrey Cramer and wife, Karen (Douglas) of Penn Run, PA; Connie Barnes of Penn Run, PA and Robert Cramer, Jr., and wife, Veronica (Gresko) of Penn Run, PA; his eleven grandchildren: Hillery Cramer and spouse, Jessica; Barry Cramer, Jr. Terry Cramer and spouse, Ashley; Kathy Nichol and spouse, Jerod; Cortney Tyger and spouse, Isaac; Michael Cramer and spouse, Kayla; Zachary Cramer; Jessica Green and spouse, Chad; Justin Barnes and spouse, Brittany; Rhonda Ritenour and spouse, Eric and Abigaile Cramer; his three great-grandchildren: Noah and Apollo Green and Raena Nichol; his three siblings: Ronald Cramer and wife, Dolores; Ruie Gressley and Rodger Cramer and wife, Doris Jean; close friend, Pastor Wilber Hosler of Clymer, PA and many nieces and nephews.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents; stepmother, Grace (Dick) Cramer; his son-in-law, Roger Barnes; brother, Raymond Cramer; sister-in-law, Mildred Cramer; sister, Ruth Cramer; brother-in-law, Perry Peterson; brother, Ralph Cramer; sister-in-law, Betty Cramer; Sister, Roene Meltzer; brother-in-law, Raymond Trout; brother-in-law, Delmont Gressley; brother, Royden Cramer and sister-in-law, Edna Cramer.
Family and friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at the Rairigh Funeral Home, Ltd. in Hillsdale, PA. Immediately following the visitation, a 3:00 p.m. funeral service will take place at the funeral home with Pastor Robert White officiating. Military honors will be observed by the Clymer American Legion Post #222.
