Indiana Borough police have charged an IUP student from Montgomery County with a host of drug offenses for allegedly trying to sell marijuana in the 700 block of Grant Street last month. Police say they came into contact with 22-year-old Marleeke Lear of Pottstown on February 24th, and he tried to conceal evidence from them as he was attempting to sell the pot.
The charges against Lear include possession with intent to deliver, possession of a small amount of marijuana and of drug paraphernalia, and tampering with evidence.
Indiana Borough police have also filed drug charges against 25-year-old Andrew Fleming of Homer City, who they accuse of having a half-ounce of cocaine which he intended to sell on May 25th last year in the 200 block of Elm Street. Police say he also had a small amount of marijuana. The charges include possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of a small amount of marijuana.
