Starting next week, there will be a bridge replacement project and there will be some daylight lane restrictions in place.
On Monday, PennDOT crews will be in Blacklick and Connemaugh Townships as part of the Newport Road Bridge Rehabilitation project. Lane restrictions will be in place starting Monday, and in April, Detours will be posted as steel repairs and deck replacement takes place. The project is expected to wrap up in September.
