The state high school basketball playoffs get underway with three games involving area teams on our Renda Broadcasting stations.
The action begins on AM 1160 and FM 101.1 with the Penns Manor girls on the road in Enola, PA against Camp Hill. Airtime is 4:30 this afternoon.
The Blairsville girls play Tussey Mountain at Central Cambria, with a 5:30 airtime and 6 o’clock tip on Cat Country 106.3 FM.
The Indiana boys will take on Greater Johnstown, with the pregame airing at 7 PM on WDAD AM 1450 and FM 100.3.
Tomorrow, three more area teams take the court for their first-round games.
Ligonier Valley opens the action with a 3:30 airtime, a 4 o’clock tip against Lancaster Mennonite at Johnstown High School. That’s the first game of a doubleheader on Cat Country, 106.3 FM. The second game immediately afterward is from Central Cambria, where Purchase Line takes on Jeannette.
On WCCS, Homer-Center travels to Canon-McMillan to play Our Lady of the Sacred Heart with a 4 p.m. airtime and a 4:30 tipoff.
