State police crime reports today include a citation for a false 911 call, and the theft of items from a parked vehicle.
A disorderly conduct citation was issued against 39-year-old Victor Santiago of Punxsutawney, who is accused of calling Indiana County 911 early on Friday morning to report an incident that police say he made up. State troopers were dispatched to the scene in Clymer Borough, where they found that Santiago had fabricated his story.
Police report the theft of a Carhart jacket, a Coleman lunchbox, and a PennDOT identification card from the vehicle of a 50-year-old Indiana man who had parked last Wednesday afternoon at the White Township Walmart. The total value of the stolen items is $175.
