Ruth A. Palmer, 74, of Palmerton, PA, died Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.
Ruth was born December 31, 1943 in Burrell Twp., PA to John Palmer and Bessie (Ewing) Palmer.
Ruth had attended the Chapel of Hope, Black Lick, PA. She was a caregiver all of her life, including being an aide at Indian Haven & St. Andrews Village, both of Indiana, PA. Ruth enjoyed spending time with her Grandchildren.
Ruth was survived by her daughter Sandra Shaffer, Palmerton, PA; her son Tim Palmer, Palmerton, PA; her grand children Michael Shaffer, Darcie Lynn, Amber Palmer and Timmy Palmer Jr.; her great grand child Skyler Smith; her brothers Casey Palmer, Blairsville, PA, John Palmer & wife Thelma, Blairsville, PA, Larry Palmer & wife Eileen, Blairsville, PA and Robert Palmer, Blairsville, PA; her sister Barbara Palmer, Latrobe, PA; and several nieces & nephews.
Ruth was preceded in death by her father John Palmer, her mother Bessie (Ewing) Palmer and her brother Harry Palmer.
Visitation will be at James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc., Blairsville, PA on Friday, February 16, 2018 from 11-1 PM, the time of the funeral service. Pastor Dave Kimball will officiate.
