Another candidate has announced his intention to run for the Republican nomination for the State House of Representatives.
Indiana County Chamber of Commerce President Jim Struzzi has announced he will seek the 62nd district seat currently held by Dave Reed, who is running for US Congress. Struzzi is a graduate of Penn-Trafford High School and the University of Pittsburgh and is also working on his Masters in Public Administration at IUP . Struzzi’s platform will focus on crafting policies to help businesses, manufacturing, agriculture, working families, education, workforce development, fighting the opioid crisis, healthcare, transportation and techonolgy education.
The field for the Republican nomination for the 62nd District Seat is getting crowded. Julie Anderson and Shane Caylor have also announced they are running for the Republican nomination. Logan Dellafiora was the first candidate to announce a run for the seat, on the Democratic Party ticket.
