The Penguins are back on the ice tonight as they welcome the Ottawa Senators to PPG Paints Arena. The Pens are 6-1-and-1 in their last eight games and coming off a 4-1 win Sunday at St. Louis. They are second in the Metropolitan Division with 66 points, four points behind Washington. Ottawa is seventh in the Atlantic with 47 points.
Among those not on the ice for practice yesterday were Tom Kuhnhackl, Patric Hornqvist, and Carter Rowney. Kuhnhackl and Hornqvist are both injured and Rowney had a “maintenance day.”
