An Indiana man was taken to the Indiana Regional Medical Center yesterday morning after a traffic crash on Route 422 in Plumcreek Township, Armstrong County.
State police say 47-year-old Guangyong Li lost control of his car on a left-hand curve during the morning snowstorm, crossing the highway and striking a tree stump. The force of the crash spun his car back onto the road.
Police say Li suffered minor injuries.
A Shelocta couple escaped injury yesterday morning when their four-wheel drive SUV got caught up in heavy snow and slush on Parkwood Road in Armstrong Township, sliding into a fence and metal gate.
The vehicle of 63-year-old Larry McCoy and 58-year-old Donna McCoy ended up crashing headfirst into a culvert.
