The investigation continues into the fire that destroyed the Kiski Valley Inn in Saltsburg.
Firefighters were called out around 3:30 AM Sunday morning to the restaurant on Harvat Road, and reports say that fire crews from Saltsburg saw flames going through the roof about a half-mile away from the scene. Fire crews from Tunnelton and Saltsburg were called into Westmoreland County to help fight the fire, and Iselin and Coal Run fire departments were called in to assist 20 minutes later.
Reports say that the fire started in one of the lower corners of the structure and spread quickly to the main roof. The exact cause remains unknown at this time.
