The Indiana School Board will re-visit two items at tonight’s special meeting.
Two motions that were tabled at the last school board meeting will be brought up again. One concerns the ownership of a wrestling mat and six wrestling clocks. The motion that was tabled would have relinquished all ownership rights of the items to the Indiana Wrestling Boosters, but after a lengthy discussion, the board tabled the issue, saying they did not want the issue to be a distraction for wrestlers still competing this season. The boosters said that by tabling the issue, it becomes a financial loss for them as they would not be able to raise any money from renting the equipment out to other groups.
The other issue that was tabled concerns an agreement with EduLink, inc. for their Comply software. The software will allow the district to track and ensure compliance with school board policies, administrative regulations and legal requirements.
The meeting starts at 7:30 tonight at the district’s offices at the East Pike building.
