Elizabeth “Betty Ann” Molnar, 76, Homer City died January 27, 2018 at Indiana Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Alex and Anna (Vargo) Molnar and was born May 16, 1941 in Indiana, PA.
Betty Ann was a member of the Holy Protection of Mary Byzantine Catholic Church, Homer City where she was the bookkeeper/secretary of the church. She worked for 42 years as Secretary of Superintendent of Schools for the Homer Center School District and was a member of PSEA.
Betty Ann is survived by her brother, Robert Molnar, Homer City; her cousin, Darlene Vargo, New Jersey; niece, Alexis (Travis) Harmon, Indiana; nephew, Nicholas (Kristin) Esposito, Jr., Homer City; great niece, Annelise. She is also survived by her special friend, Kathy Deskevich, Homer City.
Friends can be received Tuesday from 2-4PM and 6-8PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City where a Panachida will be held at 3PM at the funeral home. A Divine Liturgy will be held Wednesday at 10AM at Holy Protection of Mary Byzantine Catholic Church, Homer City with Rev. Father William A. Lascelles, the Celebrant. Interment to follow in the Oakland Cemetery, Indiana.
