ARMAGH – Bob Rado recorded his 200th win as head coach of the Homer-Center boys’ basketball team Monday night, as the Wildcats defeated United, 59-54, in a Heritage Conference game at United High School.
Homer-Center trailed, 13-4, early on and played from behind for most of the first three quarters. The Wildcats grabbed their first lead briefly in the third quarter and trailed by one heading into the fourth. Homer-Center outscored the Lions, 17-11, in the final frame, paced by sophomore Jaden Evanick’s nine points. Evanick scored a game-high 19 points.
Tanner Yancy scored 11 points for Homer-Center and Michael Ginter added 10.
For United, Luke Means scored 17 points and Nate Fabrizio scored 10.
