It’s a very active day today in Indiana County Court, with jury selection scheduled for a number of defendants, many of them drug cases.
One case that does not involved drugs is the trial for robbery and assault of 24-year-old Montay Green of Pittsburgh. He’s charged with six felonies, for robbery, aggravated assault, burglary, criminal trespass, theft, and attempted theft for the incident in February of last year.
Drug defendants for whom jury selection is scheduled today include:
- 29-year-old Jemere Howard of Seward, who is being tried in two cases, from June and July of last year.
- 33-year-old Franklin Ellis Jr. of Braddock.
- 43-year-old Robert Frank Ohler Jr. of Ford City.
There is a probation revocation hearing scheduled today for 31-year-old former Blairsville resident Jeremy Allgood, who is now listed as living in Crawfordsville, Indiana. He pleaded guilty in a 2013 indecent assault case involving his girlfriend’s 6-year-old daughter.
Drug defendants to be sentenced today include Annique Denning of Harrisburg, in a contraband case, and 26-year-old Shaun Aukerman of Indiana, for possession with intent to deliver. There is also a plea court appearance on drug charges today for Job Olmeda-Brown of York
51-year-old Christopher McCormick of Murrysville will be sentenced in three separate theft by deception cases, in all of which he pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property.
