Robert S. Henry, Jr., 92, of Blairsville, PA died Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at his home.
Robert was born July 18, 1925 in Blairsville, PA to Robert S. Henry and Mary (Nicolas) Henry.
Robert attended Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, Blairsville, PA. He served in the US Army. He was a past Post Master at Blairsville, Josephine and Clarksburg post offices. He was a member of the Blairsville BPOE #406 and also the VFW Post in Indiana & Blairsville. He enjoyed helping at Canton’s Turkey Farm and loved to mow grass.
Robert was survived by his son Larry Henry & wife Lorraine, Saltsburg, PA, his daughter Faye Baughman & husband Earl, New Florence, PA, his son Scott Henry, Blairsville, PA, his daughter Joy Canton & husband Joe, Coral, PA, his grandchild Toni Schooner & husband Guy, his grandchild Steven McCully & wife Kim, his grandchild Monica Friday & husband Chris, his grandchild Doug McCully & wife Kellie, his grandchild Ryan Henry & wife Laura, his grandchild Joseph Canton, his grandchildren William & Leann Holmes, and 13 great grandchildren.
Robert was preceded in death by his father Robert S. Henry, his mother mother Mary (Nicolas) Henry, his wife Wilma Jean Henry, his daughter Karolee Henry, his infant son Dwayne Henry, his sisters Judy Cribbs and Ruth Miller.
In keeping with Robert’s wishes, services will be private.
If so desired, memorial donations may be made to a church of your choice.
Interment will be at Blairsville Cemetery in Blairsville, Pennsylvania.
