Another case of someone using movie prop money for payment has been reported in Indiana county. State Police say that a 33-year-old Connellsville man used a bill that said “For Motion Picture Use Only” as cash and got change for his purchase. We know that the incident happened at a location along Route 119 South in Homer City.
State Police have charged a Leechburg woman with theft for an incident at the Burrell Township Wal-Mart on Monday. Police say 28-year-old Danielle Neiswonger of Leechburg was in the Wal-Mart on resort plaza drive, stole several cosmetics and tried to leave the store. She was confronted by Wal-Mart loss prevention personnel and dropped the merchandise. She tried to run away from the store, but after investigation, she was later identified. Charges were filed with District Judge Jennifer Rega’s office.
Damage to a truck was reported sometime between New Year’s Day and Jnauary 2nd in the Center Township area. Police say that an unknown person was able to get into a Chevy Tracker belonging to a 20-year-old Homer City woman, and removed the lower cover of the steering column and cut the wire harness.
