Christina Lowman-Johnston, 64, of Indiana, passed away at Allegheny General Hospital on January 2, 2018 after a long battle with COPD and Heart Disease.
The daughter of Mike & Dorothy (Shaffer) Gima she was born May 11, 1953, in Heilwood, PA.
Chris was a loving wife, mom, friend, and Bubby to many. She loved crafting, sewing, cooking, and teaching sewing and embroidery to many across Indiana Co.
Surviving is her husband, Alex Lowman; son, Peter Weiss Jr.; daughters, Lisa Krouse-Gayarski and Krisha (Joseph) Michele, all of Indiana; grandchildren, Cristiana, Savanna, Lexi Jo, & Cassie Michele,
all of Indiana and Bryan & Michael Krouse, Blairsville; great-grandchildren, Richard, Alexander, & Viviana, all of Indiana; siblings: Mike, Daniel, Ronald, Mike Joseph, Paul, Virginia, Susan, Elizabeth, Marjorie, and Julia.
She is also survived by loving caregivers: Sandy, Faith, Michele, Kelly, and Jen and three special friends: Ellen, Kathy, and Barb. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Preceding Christina in death were her parents; brother, Steven; sisters, Anna Marie, Mary, & Mary Jane; nephew BJ, and grandchildren, L’Alex and Kimmy.
At her request, Christina will be cremated. A Memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
A private family burial will be in the spring at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetary, Cammeron’s Bottom.
