As the end of the year rolls around, so do the reminders for people to pay their local and county taxes.
Homer City Borough Residents are reminded by Tax Collector Thomas Citeroni that today is the last day to pay county, borough and school taxes. His office will be open today from 9 until noon. Citeroni warns that if the taxes are not paid today, they will be turned over to the Indiana County Tax Claim Bureau.
The offices for Jeff Mack of White Township and Bill Lundstrom of Indiana Borough will also be open today from 9 until 1 PM for the payment of 2017 real estate, and county per capita taxes. All offices will accept money orders, certified checks and cash for payment. No personal checks will be allowed.
