Randolph David Ross, 71, of Indiana, formerly of Marion Center, passed away Friday, Dec. 22, 2017 at Indiana Regional Medical Center.
A son of the late David B. and Miriam Hill Ross, he was born Aug. 3, 1946. Ranny was a long-time resident of Marion Center before moving to St. Andrew’s Village.
A graduate of Marion Center High School Class of 1965, Ranny worked at the Indiana County Workshop for many years before retiring. Ranny had an amazing ability to remember people and family birthdates. He enjoyed gospel music, especially Mahalia Jackson, playing bingo, doing word search puzzles and serving as the morning greeter at St. Andrew’s.
He is survived by a brother, Philip Ross and wife Elaine; two sisters: Jean Tucker and husband Frank; and Darlene Delano and husband Oscar; six nieces, one nephew and several great nieces and nephews. “Good night Hannah” was his favorite saying to his nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be announced for a later time, Robinson-Lytle, Inc assisted the family in making arrangements.
Memorial contributions can be made in Ranny’s name to the Marion Center Volunteer Fire Department.
