VERONICA MRENKO, 97

Veronica (Sisko) Mrenko, 97, of Coral, PA passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2017 in the Communities at Indian Haven, Indiana, PA.
The daughter of Simon and Veronica (Mikula) Sisko, she was born July 26, 1920 in Rossiter, PA.
Mrs. Mrenko was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, Coral.
Her family was the most important part of her life and she enjoyed cooking and baking.
Surviving are her son, Joseph R. Mrenko of Coral and cousins, Walter and Randi Ostack and Edward Ostack and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph Mrenko, Jr. in 1994; two brothers, Joseph Sisko and Albert Sisko; three sisters, Mary Sisko, Anna Sisko and Pauline Ostack.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 P.M. Thursday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Friday in Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, Coral, PA.
Interment will be in SS Simon & Jude Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
