The crime blotter today includes two incidents involving Walmart stores.
State police say that on December 12th, 35-year-old James Patrick Edwards of Lower Burrell fraudulently returned merchandise valued at $209.88 to the White Township store, and the next day, a 65-year-old Ligonier man whose identity has not been released submitted several possibly fraudulent prescriptions to the pharmacy at the Burrell Township Walmart. The investigation continues.
Police report the theft of a Xbox 360 and three games from a home in Byron Court in White Township. The burglary occurred December 15th. The victim is a 33-year-old man.
A charge of resisting arrest is pending against Jarvie Wayne Goss after an incident at 2:05 AM Saturday at a business along Starford Road in Green Township. Police say Goss urinated off the back porch of the Rose Inn too. Police were summoned and they say he gave them a false ID and fled on foot, but was apprehended a short time later.
Mutual harassment charges are pending against a 31-year-old Blairsville woman and a 35-year-old New Florence man after an altercation at a location along Oakwood Drive in East Wheatfield Township on Saturday afternoon.
Charges of criminal mischief and harassment are pending against two 21-year-old Indiana men after an incident involving a 47-year-old Indiana woman at the S&T Bank Arena in White Township on December 7th.
