Monday afternoon at the KCAC, the IUP women’s basketball team set a record by scoring 125 points, as it defeated Geneva, 125-53.
IUP was led by Maura D’Anna’s 17 points, one of nine IUP players to score in double figures.
The win improved the No. 5 team in the WBCA Division II Coaches Poll to 10-0.
The 125 points broke the previous record for points in a single game of 113.
