Tonight at the KCAC is a chance for you to enjoy some great holiday music and help out the Teddy Bear fund drive at the same time.
The first ever “Rockin’ the Stockin’” concert will be held tonight at the KCAC’s Toretti Auditorium, and will feature Jeff Jimmerson and his band Airborne, along with special guest Rick Witikowski. Jeff and Rick were a part of the B.E. Taylor Christmas Concerts for many years, including five annual performances at the KCAC. B.E. passed away in 2016 just as concert tickets were set to go on sale. But Jimmerson is probably best known as the Anthem singer for the Pittsburgh Penguins.
In an interview about the concert in November, Jimmerson said the music selection will be a mix of what Airborne performs (cover songs) along with Christmas music off his recent holiday release, including “Light at the Stable”, a song Jimmerson performed during the B.E. Taylor shows.
Tickets are still available for the concert tonight, and the box office will open at 10:00 at the KCAC and will remain open until showtime tonight at 7:30 PM. All proceeds benefit Renda Broadcasting’s Teddy Bear Fund Drive, which supports IRMC’s Pediatrics and Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh.
