Charles A. Rhine, Sr. 82, of Clymer, formerly of Cleveland, Ohio, was called home to be with our Lord on Thursday, Dec. 7, 2017 at Indiana Regional Medical Center.
A son of the late Floyd I. and Mary E. Stephens Rhine, he was born Oct. 10, 1935 in Kenwood.
Mr. Rhine was a graduate of Penns Manor High School. He was a self-employed manager and distributer of Korman Products in Cleveland until he retired and moved back to Kenwood. Mr. Rhine was a member of the Glen Campbell Baptist Church and the Westlake Yacht Club. He enjoyed racing Go-Carts, Blue Grass music, playing guitar, woodworking and tinkering.
He is survived by two children: Charles A. Rhine, Jr., and wife Christini, of Richfield, Ohio; and Charlene Dickins, of Las Vegas, NV; 13 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie M. Bathurst Rhine; and one sister, Janet L. Rhine.
Friends will be received on from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Robison-Lytle, Inc., Indiana. Additional visitation and funeral services will be handled by Martin & Sons Funeral Home in Cleveland, Ohio.
