Work, Clubs & Organizations: He served in the US Air Force being stationed in England during the Korean War with a rank of Staff Sergeant. He had attended Penn State in Altoona where he received a 2 year electrical degree. Byron retired after 24 years of service from Penelec Power Station as an electrical foreman. He enjoyed working in his orchard and gardening. Byron sang in the Church Choir, served many years as a trustee, held numerous positions in the church and also was a Sunday School teacher. He always enjoyed helping the United Methodist Women make apple butter at the church.

Black Lick United Methodist Church, 36 Walnut St., Black Lick, PA 15716 on Saturday, December 09, 2017 from 10:00 AM to12:00 PM, the time of the funeral service. Rev. Brett Dinger will officiate.
Interment: Logan Valley Cemetery
