Alice V. Lukehart, 90, of Mansfield, died Monday, December 4, 2017 at Ohio Health Mansfield, Mansfield, after a short illness.
Alice was born in Belsano, PA on July 29, 1927 to the late Robert W. and Susan (Herrick) Grant. She married Walter J. Lukehart on July 27, 1948 and he preceded her in death on March 9, 1991.
Alice was a homemaker and enjoyed gospel T.V. Shows. She also loved watching comedy shows and soap operas, especially the Bold and the Beautiful and the Young and the Restless.
Alice is survived by her son, Robert J. Lukehart, Mt. Vernon; her daughter, Diana M. and Tracy Kinn, Mansfield; her grandson, Robert M. Lukehart, Galion; her brothers, Robert (Bonnie Adams) Grant, Lancaster, PA, William (Betty Jones) Grant, Belsano, PA, John (Karen Sell) Grant, Wichita, Kansas, Joan (Joseph) Barno, New Jersey, Kathy (Jack) Rearick, Spring Church, PA; her 19 nieces and nephews and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Susan Lukehart; her daughter Edna J. Staats; her sisters, Mary (Ralph) LaMagna, Lillian Gulakowski, Dorothy Grant; and her brother, Thomas Grant.
Friends may call Thursday, December 7, 2017 from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM at the Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home, 303 Portland Way N., Galion. Calling hours will also be held on Sunday, December 10, 2017 from 2:00 PM-5:00 PM at the Ferguson Funeral Home, 25 W. Market St., Blairsville, PA. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 11, 2017 at the Ferguson Funeral Home, in Blairsville, PA at 11 a.m.Burial will follow in Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
