The Homer-Center Football team pulled off a come-from-behind victory over Steelton-Highspire. A complete game report can be found in the sports section of the website.
The bus made its way back to Homer City under escort from several fire departments, and when they got back to town, the team was welcomed in front of Alba’s with a shower of Hershey’s kisses from many of their supporters who could not make the trip to see the game.
Homer-Center will play Jeanette in the PIAA Class 1-A Championships on Thursday in Hershey, and you’ll be able to hear the game on WCCS AM 1160, FM 101.1 and streaming on wccsradio.com from the TribLive High School Sports Network starting at 12:00 noon.
