Penn State is losing its offensive coordinator, as Joe Moorhead has been named the head coach at Mississippi State to replace Dan Mullen, who will take over the Florida program.
Moorhead has been at Penn State for two years after having coached at Fordham, Connecticut and Akron.
The Nittany Lions are ranked No. 9 in the latest College Football Poll.
