Indiana Regional Medical Center has joined a popular social media movement aimed at helping charitable organizations.
The “Giving Tuesday” movement follows on the heels of Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday by focusing efforts on philanthropy and generosity. This year, IRMC will have their own “Giving Tuesday” online event. The Indiana Healthcare Foundation, the fundraising arm of IRMC, will designate all money raised by them will be designated to Renda Broadcasting’s Teddy Bear Fund Drive. To take part, log on to www.indianarmc.org. You will see a “Giving Tuesday” link at the top of the page to make a donation.
Generous donations have already come in from businesses including Delaney Auto Group and individuals like Dr. Bosco Noronha and audiologist Jessica Kelly.
The Teddy Bear Fund Drive is Renda Broadcasting’s annual charitable drive to help IRMC Pediatrics and Children’s Hospital of UPMC in Pittsburgh. You can follow the Giving Tuesday movement on social media with #givingtuesday.
