It was a close call for a tractor-trailer truck in Armstrong County on Tuesday afternoon as it nearly hit a stopped school bus.
State police in Kittanning say around 4:09 PM, 43-year-old Brian Sullivan was driving his tractor-trailer truck east on Route 422 in Kittanning and after cresting a hill east of Seldom Seen Road, he saw a school bus along with four other vehicles stopped in front of him. He hit the brakes on the downhill grade, and swerved to the right to go off the roadway and avoid hitting any of the vehicles. The truck went into a grass embankment and came to rest facing south east in the embankment on the southern shoulder of Route 422.
No one was injured in the crash.
