Power outages were reported in the Northern Indiana County area Tuesday morning.
Outages were reported earlier this morning by REA Energy in the northern regions of Indiana County near Marion Center and Plumville. Those affected only one or two customers, and those have been repaired. However, just over the border in Jefferson County near Timblin, between 500 and 1500 Penelec customers are affected by a power outage so that could spill over into Indiana County. Penelec says that outage was due to equipment damage.
REA Energy also reports an outage affecting over 10 people in the Indiana area near the Jimmy Stewart Airport.
Power was restored to all areas in the early afternoon.
