People once again packed the streets and sidewalks as Indiana kicked off the holiday season with the Lucy Donnelly Festival and Parade in Downtown Indiana.
Activities started at IRMC Park and along Philadelphia Street leading up to the annual parade where close to 70 units took part and brought the holiday season to Indiana Borough. It all culminated in the lighting of the 43-foot tall Christmas Tree in IRMC Park. The tree, donated by Fleming’s Christmas Tree Farms, required the assistance of Lias crane and the Indiana Fire Association to decorate it.
The fun continues today as IRMC Park will host Santa and his reindeer from noon to 8 PM today and from 10-4 on Sunday.
