Last night, the White Township Planning Commission approved the final site plan for a new business.
The new business will be a 6700 square foot AutoZone store at the corner of Oakland Avenue and Lilac Street. The approval comes with a condition concerning the driveways for the business. Assistant Township Manager Chris Anderson said the issue was with driveway placement as the Planning Commission usually likes the driveways as far away from intersections as possible, but in this instance, the intersections are closer than normal due to the fact that it would make it easier for delivery trucks going to the store to get to the loading docks.
In other business, final minor subdivisions were approved for Evergreen Estates on Oakland Avenue, for a property on Route 110, for Lazor Brothers on Sterling Hills, and for an estate on Route 286 east.
