REA Energy customers in the northern portions of Indiana County went without power for a while on Wednesday.
The outage was reported by REA Energy around 3:30 on Wednesday. A news release from REA Energy stated that the outage affected 1,765 customers in the Cookport, Commodore, Northern Cambria, Cherry tree and Marion Center areas. The reason for the outage was because REA’s power supplier interrupted power to the substation that served those areas.
Power was restored on Wednesday.
