Several preliminary hearings will be held today in Indiana County Court for drug-related and DUI crimes. There are a few that are for crimes not related to drugs or alcohol.
One of those cases is the preliminary hearing for Michele Lynn Donahue of Indiana, who faces a misdemeanor charge of theft of services along with two summary counts of harassment, and single counts disorderly conduct-fighting and failure to notify of a change of address. These charges were filed in connection with an incident on August 29th, where police say she had hailed a zTrip taxi in Homewood, Allegheny County to take her to a home on Independence lane in White Township. When she got there, Donahue told a man at the home to pay for the cab ride, which he refused. Donahue yelled at the man and shoved him, then informed the cabbie that she would not pay for the ride. Police also say that Donahue tried to get her ID card away from the cab driver before running off.
Charges against her were filed in a criminal complaint. Her preliminary hearing is set for 9 AM in front of District Judge Jennifer Rega.
