Irene Ciscelia (Skelly) Marsh, 93 of Brenizer, PA, went to meet her precious Lord Jesus Christ on October 28, 2017 at her home where she resided with her daughter, Linda in Brenizer, PA.
Irene was born in the Wilmore area of Summerhill Twp., north of Johnstown, PA on December 7, 1923. She was the daughter of Andrew P and Zella M. (Noon) Skelly. She worked in the Derry Area School cafeteria system for 20 years and along with her husband, she worked as a custodian for the United Presbyterian Church, Blairsville, PA, until she retired at age 74. She loved to cook, crochet and spend time with her family and friends, as well as her church family at the Gray Station Community Church, where she was a member for many enjoyable years.
Irene is survived by her daughters, Nancy Lee Cholock & husband Bruce of Millwood, PA and Linda Joy Lewis & husband Floyd Wayne of Brenizer, PA, with whom she resided. Also surviving are her grandchildren, John Janick and Jeff Janick of Greensburg, PA and Robert Lewis and Richard Lewis of Brenizer, PA; eleven Great Grandchildren and four Great Great Grandchildren and also several Nieces & Nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John S. Marsh in 1986, her parents and all of her siblings. As per Irene’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services. Cremation and burial will be beside her dear husband, John, in the Blairsville Cemetery.
