Today is the First ever Fall-o-ween Fall Festival at IRMC Park.
Everything gets underway today with the annual Kiwanis Halloween Parade. Parade Lineup starts at 9:30 at the intersection of 5th and Philadelphia Streets. The parade will go from there to IRMC Park at 7th and Philadelphia Streets. Trick-or-treating will continue at Downtown Indiana Businesses from 11-1. David Janusek of Downtown Indiana said the businesses are ready for the trick-or-treaters, and more businesses have signed up for the trick-or-treat than have signed up for the upcoming wine walk.
There will be activities at IRMC Park starting at noon, including bounce houses, crafts and music. There will also be a lot of food vendors at IRMC Park as well. As far as the music goes, Jeff Jimmerson and Airborne have postponed their appearance at the festival due to the wet weather expected to come in later today, but all the other bands will perform as scheduled, and all of the activities at the Fall-o-Ween fall festival will go on, rain or shine!
The music starts with Elvis Impersonator Kelly Hylton at noon, followed by Jukehouse Bombers at 12:30. Party-rock-cover band Told Ya So will perform at 2:00, and 10-A/C Courage at 3:30.
